The description refers to connect but I couldn't find it spelled out anywhere, whether the hardback version comes with Connect, which is required for my class.It does NOT come with connect, so you will have to buy it anyway. Might as well go ahead and get the loose leaf version from the connect website and save some money.

I had to buy this text for a graduate class in statistics and quickly found it to be the most horrendous book I’ve ever had to use. The best way I can describe the style of writing and the approach to conveying a message is “psycho babble.†There is way too much information crammed in to each paragraph, with the author(s) trying to cover every possible angle around an idea. Add to that the inability to tie exercises back to examples in the book, poorly explained and sometimes incorrect answers in the back of the book and you’re left with a miserable educational experience. If I could give this text 0 stars, I would.
